MY MOM & DAD WILL RISE AGAIN

Good Evening All,
As hard as this is for me to do, I have to put my PRIDE aside and think about WHO this is actually for "MY PARENTS" ... My Parents have worked hard all their lives and worked equally as hard building their HOME in Puerto Rico to enjoy their retirement in the Carribean. As you already know Hurricane Maria came barreling through the island leaving many without their homes, some with what is left of their home. Unfortunately my parents were one of the many unfortunate ones that had major damage to their home and flooding of up to 2-3ft of water, leaving EVERYTHING they had submerged under water. I cannot imagine the feeling that my parents felt when they first returned back to their HOME and seen their entire house and property under water, EVERYTHING they worked for taken from them. Walking through the water waist high just to see what you already know, all of your belongings first under water then covered in mud. Where do you begin? What do you do? Where do you go? My PARENTS are my idols and they did exactly what I would have done, start cleaning up an area to sleep in. That's exactly what they did, that is their HOME and they will RISE UP again.
I had posted a message on FB asking for help to go to PR and help them with the cleanup. I had many people contacting me saying that they cannot go but want to help? What do they need? How can I help? It wasn't until this morning when I was speaking to a few friends who were trying to comvince me to open a GO FUND ME page instead because if people do buy supplies, I will have to spend lots of money sending it to them whereas they can use the money to purchase everything over there. I finally gave in and here I am.
Those that know me, know that I am not one to ask for help but am the first one there to help anyone. It's in my blood, my MOM has ALWAYS said to me "IF you're ABLE to, you should be WILLING to" and with that instilled in my head, hearI am.
I'm trying to raise some money to help my parents rebuild their HOME. Anything you can contribute is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
