Molly the rescue Chihuahua needs help

52570072_1605326699367755_r.jpegMy name is Elaine and this is my my Chihuahua, Molly. She is at best guess 11  1/2 years old.

This is Molly's story.

A friend took me to get a different dog from a breeder she knew about.

The breeder was in the hospital and her care giver brought out this dog.

I didn't think I wanted this dog because she looked old and I could only see 3 teeth.

I was praying and heard a man's voice that said "Her name is Molly. I hand picked her for you. I will make sure you have enough money for vet bills."

So I paid $15 and took Molly on the agreement that if I changed my mind I could take her back. That was September 26, 2018.

Molly is gray and white and she weighs 5 lb 7 oz.

Molly rides in the cloth basket of my walker and spends half of her time sleeping on my lap or in her bed. She sleeps with me at night.

I took Molly to the vet on the September 28th, 2018 and have spent about $1,500 or more; including the $400 I still owe the vet where I now live in Oklahoma and what I owe Care Credit from her vet visits when I lived in Texas.

Molly has about 5 teeth left and they keep having infections. They need cleaned before the vet can tell which ones need to be pulled.

Molly and I live in an apartment building for senior citizens and there are a lot of different neighbors and other dogs.

Molly has never met a stranger. She loves to say hi to everyone and they all say she is so cute and precious. Very different from most chihuahuas they know.

I don't have any more money in savings and live on Social Security & SSI.

Molly has a heart murmur but had emergency surgery to be spayed in September this year.

Except for her teeth, she is in pretty good health. People can't believe she is so old because when she feels good, she is full of energy.

I take Molly to Trinity Veterinary Hospital of Stillwater, OK. They said it would be about $300 to take care of Molly's teeth. This includes cleaning and surgery to pull them. Plus I need to pay off the past vet bills.

I have 3 choices to make a decision what to do with Molly.

I love Molly so much and she cries when I come back into the room if someone watches her for about 5 minutes.

1) I can have her put to sleep because I don't have any more money.

2) I can ask the vet if they know anyone who can afford to take care of her teeth and future vet bills.

3) I can get a go fund me page and see if all my friends on Facebook will help me with Molly's vet bills.

That's where you come in.

Can you help Molly and help me keep my little friend?
