<div>While walking in his neighborhood, a college student named Viet found a starving and severely ill dog, now named Molly. Despite living with his parents, who didn’t think it was a good idea to keep her, he sought help and ended up at the home of a kind person mistakenly listed online as an animal rescue. Touched by both Molly's condition and Viet's compassion, this person took Molly in temporarily and had her examined.

<div>Molly was in terrible shape: infected paws from overgrown nails, severe malnutrition, a flea infestation, and a mouth so infected it oozed pus, causing her pain when eating. Though she had a microchip, it led to a dead end, and no previous owner came forward during the shelter hold period.

<div>Thanks to care from a vet and grooming services, Molly began improving, but she still urgently needs expensive dental surgery to remove her decaying teeth. Viet’s family can't afford this procedure, though he’s committed to caring for Molly. <strong>A GoFundMe was created to raise funds for her surgery, giving her a chance at a healthy, pain-free life with her new, loving owner.</strong>
