Support me, Mollie Beavers, as I campaign to become the next Agriculture Commissioner for the State of Georgia. My mission is to promote Agriculture for the Culture because there is no culture without Agriculture. Our vision foresees a community of people who have all the tools they need to sustain themselves.
My Grandmother was a Muscogee women who taught me how to access health and wealth from the earth.
I will promote agriculture by being the bridge!
✨I will be the Bridge Between the Farmers and the Markets; We will support programs where Agricultural Entrepreneurs can receive consulting services and a direct pathway to the marketplace.
✨I will be the Bridge Between the Farmers and their Local Communities; We will fund marketing programs for Local farmers. We will implement direct-to-consumer, farm-to-table options for folks without transportation, and maintain SNAP Benefit acceptance with our partners at Amazon, Instacart, etc. Why feed a school for a week when we can establish a farm, teach children how to grow and harvest, and incorporate the garden foods into the school lunch each day to help groups of farmers FEED THEIR LOCAL SCHOOL FOR A YEAR?!?!
NO FOOD DESSERTS BY 2025!!!!!
✨I will be the Bridge Between the Farmers and the Infrastructure. We will help you acquire Mobile Internet Hotspots, Solar Power, and consolidate farmer resources, and help you with your needs over the phone or in-person until we get it done. I will meet you where you are! We will also promote agricultural career pathways to students pre-K-12.
✨ I will be the bridge between the land and the people. We will continue set the standard for safety regulations that help to maintain the overall health of the planet. Global Warming and Greenhouse Emissions are effecting our Pecan and Blueberry farmers and making Ga's climate more favorable yet more prone to natural disaster. We will ensure that we protect our assets while insuring for future losses.... We must also decide on our future regarding fuel resources and consider the most economical plan for local sustainability.
Georgia's department of Agriculture will sustain the United States as the #1 producer of TIMBER, COTTON, & POULTRY. We will create and support programming and funding to support new farmers, farmers in need of critical resources, and farmers impacted by natural disasters. And as the commissioner, I will follow in the steps of Gary Black and put Georgian's First!
Again, I am Mollie Nicole Beavers, and I am promoting Agriculture for the Culture, for there is no Culture without Agriculture.
