Please help this sweet Pinetree family out. The Tick Canyon Fire came through our neighborhood on the afternoon  of October 24th, 2019. It ripped through super fast and thankfully the neighbors gave them a heads up and they were able to escape this crazy fire with only their animals in tact, but their house was not so lucky. It suffered some severe damage. Michelle and Bryan were in Japan helping their niece deal with a surgery when they got news that their house had been severely damaged. The firefighters yellow taped their house.   If you can find it in your heart to please donate a little something please do and if you can please share this, we would surely appreciate it!

Below is their account of what happened from so far away:

"Our home was one of the first homes that got impacted by the Tick Fire on Thursday, October 24th since we live on the ridge right behind Tick Cyn. I'm grateful Pinetree had a minimum day and Mikayla was home with my mom. Someone knocked on the door informing them that there was a fire coming their way and they were able to evacuate with our pets right on time. The firefighters weren't even there when they left and the fire was on the hillside next to our home already. My husband and I were in Japan during this time assisting my 27 year old niece who had a lumpectomy exactly on this same day. She is studying abroad and lives alone in Japan and needed our assistance; therefore, we couldn't come home to be with our kids and family during this time. My neighbor called me hysterically telling me that our home was on fire and that the firefighters were inside trying to save it. We were fortunate that the home was saved; however, suffered fire damage to the back of our home and the side. We are extremenly grateful for everyone's support and prayers. We are hoping to get our home repaired within the next 6 months and move back in as we love our commnunity and plan to continue to be a part of it for a long time."
