My dear friends,
My name is Jeunee Molinaro and my husband Lance, and our 3 children live in Santa Rosa, next to Coffey Park. We live on Holly Park Way on the corner of Pinyon and Dogwood. Our house fence line boarders Coffey Lane.
It is with deepest humility that I am asking for help. Our house was completely demolished by the Coffey Park fire that happened in the early morning hours of Monday, October 9th, 2017.
Around 1:30 A.M., Lance was awakened by the heavy winds outside. He smelled smoke and got up to investigate. He looked outside and saw a wall of smoke. Just then, the power went out and he woke myself and our 3 children up. We grabbed some clothes, a couple personal items and left immediately.
We spent the rest of the early morning hours and most of the day, at the evacuation center in Petaluma, waiting for any kind of word about our neighborhood on the news.
Around 2:00 p.m., just 12 hours after fleeing our home, we went home and saw with our own eyes, our worst nightmare. Our house is completely gone.
We are grateful to everyone who has offered food, clothing and their homes to us. Grateful to everyone who has asked what they can do. Honestly, we are still processing this tragedy. We have lost everything except for the few things we were able to grab.
We are lucky that the 5 of us and our 2 dogs made it out safely. For that, we are so blessed.
Lance, Draven, Phoenix, Trinity and I are blessed to have each other and all of you in our lives.
It is difficult for us to ask for help and we appreciate anything. Your gracious donations will help us buy supplies such as clothes, tolitries, meals, dog food, dog beds, backpacks, school supplies, phone chargers, and any basic necessities we need. It will also help pay our bills so we can focus on the process of rebuilding our lives and comforting our children.
