Molina Family - Lahaina Fire Relief Fund

Hello my name is Christina Molina. I’m born and raised on Maui, Hawaii. My family lived in Lahaina for 27 years. I remember when we first moved out there. It was a one-bedroom old plantation style house. My dad had to dig the cesspool even. 

Over a course of 27 years my parents built up around that house and turned it into a beautiful oasis in Lahaina on Hauola Pl. My siblings and I as adults, along with our extended family & friends would always come to visit and everyone stayed, my parents built so many rooms that there was always space. 

Our home was built on a foundation of love and we will always have the memories of happy times and everything lost can be replaced, but it hurts to see my parents & brother lose it all in a flash. 

This is heart wrenching and hard for me to express how much they need help to build something for my little brother Max to live in. He took the brunt of this disaster and lost everything he owned. I thank god that he got out in time with his three dogs. 

Many people have asked if we need help and after talking with my parents I decided to create this GoFundMe account to help them. We don’t know how much we've lost until it’s gone. "Nothing is permanent & we should hold no expectations about tomorrow." 

Money will be used to buy materials & supplies to build something  for my brother to live in and for it to be furnished since he has lost everything he owned in that house. It will also help my parents supplement what they have lost from the fire as well and a house that they spent 27 years in building and raising a family in. The money is going directly to my mother Corazon Molina. I invited her as the beneficiary on the gofundme site. 

In reality what I am asking for isn’t enough but I know their are so many other people in need right now on Maui. The Molina family appreciates any help that we can get. Thank u again.
