Military Hero family crisis

Hope you can find it in your hearts to help a long standing member of our club, a respected friend  and British Royal Marine who has been awarded bravery honours for fighting for his country who has recently received some devistating news about one of his sons.

After a long battle with cancer we have just found out that there is no further treatment being prescribed for his young son. The little lad loves martial arts and has practiced Kung Fu for many years and even though he has struggled he has showed extraodinary courage and determination in keeping up his training all through his illness.

I am sure you can appreciate that the years of dealing with this situation, especially with dad off on tours for long periods of time,  have not enabled the family to organise, plan or indeed do anything but concentrate on hospitals, appointments and the long wait for results.

With kids  or without kids I am sure you feel as deeply as I do about his situation.

Myself, Jo and Rob Barton (thanks mate)  have arranged some special experiences for his family to keep as precious memories and we are asking our friends in the martial arts community, or indeed whoever reads this,  to give us a bit of help in raising some spending money to make their planned family outings very special without the lads parents having to worry about costs mounting up at this very difficult time.
