Dear Brothers and Sisters,
AsSalaam-o-Alaikum wRwB,
I write this to you all, within the blessed month of Ramadan, making duas that Allah swt make this a blessed month for us and make it the source of His pleasure, and I am writing this letter with a broken heart, saddened but submitted to Allah swt’s Qadar and Will, with the recent wafat and return of our beloved Mohammad to Allah swt’s and His marhamat. Ina lellahi wa ina ilaihi rajeoon! Mohammad practically raised around MCMC, helped it and the community and his family. He was the best son one can have, the most humble and loving especially his mother, grandmother and his sisters. He would also have other people in his mind and would be mentioning them from the perspective of offering help and concern. He had the gentlest heart. May Allah swt shower Mohammad with His boundless mercy and surround Mohammad with his Rasool slawl, his itraat/family, his ashaab, awlia, saliheen, anbia, shohada and moqarabeen! May Allah swt forgive his sins, shortcomings, and convert them to hasanat! Ya rab taqabal dua.
With Allah swt’s decree of relatively short life for marhoom Mohammad, and we submittingly accept His decree, as father, as parents, as family, we are trying to establish ways for Mohammad’s sadaqah jariyah.
MSMF will In-sha-Allah-swt establish a center for orphans and extremely poor and needy children with housing, full education and other services to run the orphanage and school (with deeni, vocational and general science/arts) components, established in safe and nurturing environment for the benefit of orphans and other extremely impoverished children both boys and girls. We have worked a full detail of the housing of the orphans that will be on two separate sections for each gender. The physical housing of each side will be further divided by age (>8 years, 8-10 years; 11-13 years, etc.) For education, each child will be admitted to on campus school and progress will be professionally monitored for best results. Skilled resources are to run the operations with myself involved.
As a first step, we are in the midst of purchasing a land in Peshawar area and building the boundary around it. The area needed is around 1.5 acres. This should accommodate the housing for both boys and girls appropriate age segregated in addition to gender segregated, accommodate schooling needs (Kindergarten -10/12 grades). We are in parallel working on establishing foundations in NJ and in Peshawar.
We are requesting your participation in this noble cause.
As Ramadan is here, please consider helping this project with your sadaqah and zakat. We will respect the use of your donation under the advisement of trustworthy ulema on the construction and operation of the orphanage. Our estimate for the first phase is around $50-100k, and we are requesting your generous participation.
As we go forward, I will keep you all posted with the progress.
