To our community at Modo Yoga Kelowna.
It's now time to temporarily close the doors of Modo Yoga Kelowna until March 31. As the science reveals itself and CDC provides its guidance, we will follow their lead as to when it is safe for the community at large to reopen our doors.
There is a teaching in yoga ~ Kiki~ What it loosely translates into is equal parts crisis/ opportunity. Although it can feel like a time filled with so much uncertainty it's a strong invitation to presence. So when that desire for control rises, that needing to know how this is all going to unfold bubbles up turn to your breath and allow yourself to land in this very moment. Hold yourself with grace and lean into the remembering that you have the strength of your community and together we will Rise again.
We are working hard to bring Modo Yoga into your home so that you can remain connected to your community and your practice. We will be launching our daily online offerings with the MYK teachers so that you can find a piece of peace throughout your days at home. You will be receiving an email with the details in the next couple of days so stay tuned!
We are calling on your support as a community. If you are on a membership and financially are able to continue paying for it, we promise you we are going to give you the best online classes you could have ever dreamed of and so appreciate your support. We love our staff so much and wish to continue financially supporting them during this period of time full of unknowns. Our teachers teach for the love of the practice and most of them have full time jobs outside of teaching and many of those teachers are being directly affected by this situation.
If your life has been positively impacted by the presence of Modo Yoga Kelowna then we humbly ask for your financial support so that when we weather this storm, which we will we can return to the studio. Your financial contribution will help us to support our teachers and staff during this challenging time.
