Model Citizen the Restaurant

We all can safely say some of the best memories we will have or ever will have, involve food. Cooking with your parents, a dinner at your grandparents, a trip to the woods to camp or a romantic dinner for a loved one. Food memories stand the test of time. 

We are hoping you can help us make some of those memories for some deserving young people. 

We are Model Citizen, Inc. We will be a non-profit organization based in New London, MN. Our mission is to use the power of food to grow the leaders of tomorrow. 

Through our community restaurant and Model Citizen Youth Farm we will show kids the life of a single seed. There is a popular notion of seed to plate but we believe we can take it a step further. By incorporating food waste management standards, we can utilize our usable food scraps to replenish the earth as well as nourish animals on the farm. 

By incorporating technology and entrepreneurship into all aspects of the organization we can empower the students to face the future no matter their desired path. 

Your donations will allow us to properly equip the restaurant and allow us to purchase seeds and supplies to get our farm off the ground. 

We are looking to raise as much money as possible by March 15, 2018. We are planning to open the first week of April 2018.
