GenERAtion Ratify is the youth-led movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. This amendment was first introduced in 1923. It is now 2020 and it’s about time the ERA is passed. This amendment will work to eliminate legal discrimination on the basis of sex. After nearly 80 years of fighting, it’s time to change the face of the movement by including the next generation- the youth. The youth have proven time and time again that they are today’s leaders and change-makers. From climate change strikes to gun reform laws, the youth have harnessed their unique voices and created a powerful impact. It’s time to add the ERA to the youth agenda.
