Mobilize for Mikaela

Mikaela is 7 years old and was born with Spina bifida lipomyelomeningocele. She has neurogenic bladder and neurogenic bowel. Regardless of all the medical procudures she requires many times daily, Mikaela is always smiling and is the ultimate glass half full girl! However, in the past year Mikaela's symptoms are worsening as a result of her spinal cord being tethered and the only way to rectify this tethering is to have surgery abroad. As yet We are unsure if We will receive any funding from the HSE treatment abroad scheme and We have no option as her parents but to undertake fundraising.
