<div>Martin ist ein wichtiges Mitglied seiner Community und engagiert sich seit vielen Jahren in sozialen Projekten, zum Beispiel UN Women, als Berater, Kommunikator und Verbindungsglied zwischen Organisationen und den Menschen in Moroto.
</div>
<div>Moroto, in der Region Karamoja, gehört zu den ärmsten Städten Ugandas, es fehlt an vielen Dingen, Infrastruktur, Zugang zu medizinischer Versorgung, Bildung etc. Die Nahrungssicherheit ist durch den Klimawandel weiter unter Druck geraten und die Menschen können sich nicht mehr auf die Saisons verlassen (Regen-/Trockenzeit).

<div>In dieser angespannten Situation braucht Martin unsere Unterstützung. Ausgelöst durch eine <strong>parasitäre Infektion</strong> leidet Martin an <strong>Elefantiasis</strong>, eine abnorme Vergrößerung von Körperteilen durch Lymphstau. Seine Mobilität ist dadurch stark eingeschränkt und auch das Fahren mit einem Motoradtaxi ist kaum noch möglich.

<div>Martin is an important member of his community and has been involved in social projects for many years, such as UN Women, serving as an advisor, communicator, and liaison between organizations and the people in Moroto.

<div>Moroto, located in the Karamoja region, is one of the poorest towns in Uganda, lacking many essentials such as infrastructure, access to medical care, education, etc. Food security has been further pressured by climate change, and people can no longer rely on the seasons (rainy/dry).

<div>In this tense situation, Martin needs our support. Triggered by a parasitic infection, Martin suffers from elephantiasis, an abnormal enlargement of body parts due to lymphatic obstruction. His mobility is severely limited, and even riding a motorcycle taxi has become nearly impossible.

<div>Martin, a sociable person and an important member of his community, needs an electric mobility device to maintain his independence. <div>Martin è un membro importante della sua comunità ed è coinvolto in progetti sociali da molti anni, come UN Women, ricoprendo il ruolo di consulente, comunicatore e collegamento tra le organizzazioni e le persone di Moroto.

<div>Moroto, situata nella regione di Karamoja, è una delle città più povere dell'Uganda, mancando di molte cose essenziali come infrastrutture, accesso a cure mediche, istruzione, ecc. La sicurezza alimentare è ulteriormente sotto pressione a causa dei cambiamenti climatici, e le persone non possono più fare affidamento sulle stagioni (stagione delle piogge/stagione secca).

<div>In questa situazione tesa, Martin ha bisogno del nostro supporto. A causa di un'infezione parassitaria, Martin soffre di elefantiasi, un ingrossamento anormale delle parti del corpo a causa di un'ostruzione linfatica. La sua mobilità è fortemente limitata e anche prendere un taxi motociclistico è diventato quasi impossibile.

<div>Martin, una persona socievole e un membro importante della sua comunità, ha bisogno di un dispositivo di mobilità elettrica per mantenere la sua indipendenza.
