JP's Mission Trip to Kenya, Africa

For many of you who know and for the others that do not, I am enrolled at Ignite Bible College in Christiansburg, VA. This is now my second semester and I thank God every day that he sent me here. God has done amazing work in my life and in the lives of every person I encounter here on this wonderful journey. Thanks to the Ignite Staff and Missionaries in Kenya, I have the opportunity to explore the mission field, a career I hope to be apart of after my schooling. I am so excited to announce that I have the opportunity to be apart of a missionary team reaching out to the people of Kenya, Africa. We will be arriving in Kenya on May 3rd and returning on May 21st. To all whom I am writing this letter to, I invite you to participate in my trip by coming along side of me through this remarkable opportunity. Although you may not be joining me physically, supporting me with your prayers, love, curiosity and finances means the world to me. I fully believe that God will provide enough financially to make this possible. Further, in the likely chance that I raise money over my budget, I will be donating it to members of my group. I cannot do this without you. I am asking for your prayers for the following things: that finances are fully covered, for school costs, as well as the mission trip, safety in travel, that there is unity in the group, and that God prepare the hearts of the people we are having the pleasure of getting to know and serve. Also pray for the needs of the people in Kenya that we encounter are fully met. We serve a great God. The trip altogether will cost $3,500 and I have payments due on March 2, March 16, April 2, and April 16. We will be: Reaching kids in the schools, loving on the kids in orphanages, coming along side teens in rehabilitation centers, partnering with fellow foursquare brothers and sisters, including the president of foursquare in Kenya, and also visiting and spending time with women who have been diagnosed with Aids. Any type of donation will impact and support my opportunity to help the people of Kenya. If you cannot afford to donate financial, I ask you to please be partners in this with me. Keep my team and myself in your prayers and for all whom would like to be updated regularly, I will be creating a Facebook group. Please let me know if you would like to be involved with that.
