Lost Everything to the Camp Fire

Donation protected
Everyone's favorite "Auntie Geek," Irene Lovato, was forced to evacuate her home in Magalia a few days ago with just a few items of clothing and some pictures, thinking she'd come back in a couple days and that everything would be fine.

On Friday we found out that she lost her home and everything she has to the Camp Fire in Butte County. We are so thankful that physically she is okay but this is an extremely devastating time for her and our family.

My aunt had lived alone in her mountain house, it was her happy place. She enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels in the trees and feeding all the deer that came by. As she starts creating a new kind of happy place, we are asking for donations of any size. Truly, anything will help her at this time and help her build a new future. No donation is too small.

This money will go towards replacing all the belongings she lost and help her begin the process of rebuilding a new life.

On behalf of her and our family, I'd like to say thank you for helping. And for those that have reached out to her offering kind words, your homes and your donations, thank you. You have no idea how much it means to our family, especially her. Thank you and God bless!
