Some of you may or may not know that while on patrol with bellevile PD
On October 8 2013 Heydi Portalatin(Jerez) collapsed and passed out. Heydi sufferd injuries to her head, face and lost several teeth. Heydi also become paralyzed on the right side of her body. Heydi would have to stay in the hospital for a couple of months. Once Heydi was discharhed from the hospital she required round the clock care and medical attention. Heydi has gone through several surgeries and over a year of physical therapy. Heydi continues receiving physical therapy to help recover from her injuries and surgeries. As of October 8, 2014 Heydi was let go from her position as a police officer with the Bellevile police Department. Up untill that time Heydi was still receiving a paycheck bi-weekly. Heydi is no longer receiving any type of income since her termination she has been denied disability. Heydi Husband Peter is the only member of the family who is working at the present time. Heydi and peter own a home and Heydi is a mother of a 11 year old boy and times have become hard for them because of Heydi medical expenses and of course mortgage, other bills and other cost of living expenses. I'm asking for friends and family members to lend a helping hand to Heydi durring this difficult time. No amount is to small and all donations are appreciated.
