Hello my name is Robert Alexander. Prior to 2008 I has a belief that working countless hours in a high stressed environment meant I had made it. That I was responsible, healthly, happy and fulfilled. In May 2008 I experienced an illness that forced me to be in ICU for nine day, a hospital bed for five weeks, and At-Home-Care for two months.
Since that time, I have had the privelege to experience change. Change that allowed me to pursue a new education, and through personal experience and expsoure, heal my body from holistic therapies (Massage, Chiropratic, Acupuncture, Reiki and more).
After a thirteen year career working with Foundations I transitioned in my career path to become a Massage Therapist.
I had hope to find an employer that provided a welcoming, educational and healing environment. I was unsuccessful in that endeavor.
Two years ago I started Meridian Massage Therapy with a goal to establish a professional, trusting and supportive working relationship with my clients. I wanted to be a resource to people by sharing my journey about healing my body. As well as to educate them about their body and wellness opportunities to live life well. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you all for supporting me during my healing, and to open and establish Meridian Massage Therapy.
It's now time for Meridian Massage Therapy to establish ROOTs!
I am in the process to secure a new office by October 2014. The new space requires construction that will be home to wellness services including therapeutic massage, and for new therapies that will compliment your health and add value to your service offerings.
I'm using Go Fund Me, an online crowd-funding program. My goal is to raise $10,000 by Sunday, August 31, 2014. How will funding be applied? $7,000 (construction) and $3,000 (equipment, furniture, fixtures and appliances). All levels of contributions are welcome and appreciated, From $1 up. Funders are not required to pay for the "rewards" outlined.

* Fire - Wellness Pass $150 (value begins at $288). Experience massage for $59 per one hour session for twelve months, and your first massage is free. Clients may schedule an appointment at their leisure. After one year, renewal is available for $99. *rates subject to change.
* Earth - Wellness Pass for Three Years $300 (value begins at $664). Experience massage for Three Years at $65 per one hour session for twelve months, and your first massage is free. Save on two renewal fee's ($198 value) and one free massage at the beginning of each renewal year ($178 value). Clients may schedule an appointment at their leisure.
* Metal - Eight One Hour Massages $500 ($712 value). Experience the enjoyment and flexibility of massage with eight sessions. All sessions are available for use by the purchaser or you are welcome to share one or more of your eight massages with friends and family.
* Water - all Funders will receive a BIG THANK YOU in the form of a handshake, high-five, fist pump or HUGS!
All reward promotions may be activated and begin use during the first year from date of purchase. After one year the reward value may be applied toward massage services. Expiration of each reward varies based on the deal or package. Each reward activated, in-use or non-active expires five years after date of purchase.
