MMS Hurricane Ida Recovery Fund

The devastation and impact of Hurricane Ida on the critical operation of our school is overwhelming. You can make a difference by donating today to Messiah Montessori School, an extension of Harvest Cathedral ministries, Federal Tax ID# 72-0998512.

MMS must meet the $205,000 cost of the insurance deductible in order to begin to repair permanent damages to the school buildings and contents. Each building has a separate contents deductible. Many of our classrooms suffered reparable damages to the floors, ceilings, and quality materials, such as Smart Boards and wooden Montessori materials. Our playgrounds and fences are devastated. We need your help! Please help us to continue our mission of providing academic excellence as the first and only nationally-accredited Montessori high school in Louisiana. Our teachers, students, and support staff are volunteering and donating their time and resources to rebuilding MMS to continue to be the “school of choice” in Houma.
