The Alexander S. Pearse Foundation

Alexander is a charismatic loving and resilient young boy who has struggled with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. The biggest challenge that Alex is facing now is not his underlying condition which Alex has displayed with such strength and inspiration but rather his Heart. All of Alex's hard work will be abruptly ended if he is unable to fix his Heart. Currently in the gifted hands of Children's Hospital in Philadelphia we are in a position that will warrant drastic measures to survive. With financial help Alex will be able to achieve the Cardiac Stem Cell Therapy being performed but (not currently approved in the US) however is approved in several locations outside of the U.S.
