Help us bury our brother

As many have heard already, our sweet brother David has passed away tragically and unexpectedly. With heavy hearts and broken spirits we are sad to share that on Friday night/saturday morning at around 2am, our beloved brother David was tragically killed by a stray bullet while he was driving by the shopping center located on magnolia & cerritos where he grew up most of his life as a child & adult. David had just gotten off of work when he received a call from his good friend asking for a ride home, which was nearby where the shooting happened. Investigators are still investigating the crime scene & trying to figure out who the suspects were whom fired the shots and in result ended up hitting David, an innocent bystander who just so happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. David had no involvement or was aware of the dispute that broke out but sadly died at the UCI Hospital where he pleaded to see his wife as his whole family pleaded in the waiting room to see him as well. They denied him of his human rights to see his family before finally passing away at around 4am, which the family was not even notified of until the following day close to 2pm. The detectives refused to let David have his final moments with his wife and family despite him begging for that chance during his final hours of life, but proceeded to harass his sister Adriana & brother Daniel by detaining them and interrogating them by racially profiling David for the sole fact that he was hispanic. They were insensitive in the moments where Davids family was in shock and worried about their beloved David’s well being, despite the family crying and pleading with them to let them see their brother.  David was AN INNOCENT BYSTANDER yet they treated him and his family less than human. The family is in shock, broken hearted and upset at the fact that they still haven’t received any information on behalf of their beloved brother, son, husband and father. They have yet to see the body and are being denied any information or ability to see or identify the body. 

Our sweet loving brother, son, uncle, husband & father has left a huge hole in all of hearts and all of his friends hearts with his tragic death. He was a big sweet teady bear that brought nothing but peace, love & support to all of us and anyone he came in contact with. 

He was a loving and fun uncle to his nieces & nephews whom he loved & often hosted fun sleepovers for. He was the most gentle brother of4 & set an example of what a loving and supportive son should be. He took his sick mother toher dialysis twice weekly & even helped in bathing her and carrying her in and out of her mobile home. He took his role as a husband and father seriously and prioritized being hands on in his daily life. He walked his 4 year old daughter to school and back everyday. He will definitely be missed and the void will never be filled. All we ask is for support to be able to finally see his body and give our final goodbyes as we can not see his body until we pay a morgue to transport his body from the coroners. We are pleading with anyone whom lives in the area of any info that you may hear or know about the incident with any tips or clues so that justice may be served for such a sudden infair death. We are falling apart without our David but can not have peace until we are able to see his body and say our goodbyes our big loving teddybear David.
