Andrew's Mission Trips

I have exciting news! My son Andrew Williams is going to be part of two foreign mission trips this year. The first will be going to Belize with our home church, Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. The second will be going to the Dominican Republic with Salem Baptist Church in Apex, NC. Andrew has been a part of the youth ministry with each church for more many years. He has attended some domestic mission trips in Washington, DC, Virginia and New Jersey. However, this is his first opportunity to experience his faith in action in a foreign country. It is my heart’s desire that he be able to attend these trips as part of his send off into the world and to help him shape the next phase of his life which begins with college to pursue his career goals.
With that said, there is an old adage that says it takes a village to raise a child. Many know that I have lived by that adage for most of Andrew’s life. So in order for him to go, I will need that village to assist in sending him out to do our Lord’s work. Andrew and I covet your prayers and support for these trips to include the logistics, persons going and the people they will meet along the way.
The financial cost of both trips together is $3350.00. Whether you are a prayer partner, a financial supporter, or even someone who is able to gather others to share in your support, Andrew and I both appreciate you.
