Rebuild the Dance Hall

As many of you may recall, Valentine's evening was very cold with gale force winds across the piedmont.  The Dance Hall was no match for the winds and burnt to the ground around 3AM Saturday night.  The true blessing was the one family member asleep in the hall escaped unharmed.  The loss of family memorabilia, keepsakes, pictures and memories, many treasured by Bill himself cannot be replaced.

I have started this gofundme page to help the White boys rebuild the Dance Hall.  The family wants to rebuild the Dance Hall so the parties and events can continue on.  There is no help in the cost of replacement so for the Dance Hall to be rebuilt, a grassroots effort must happen.  Billy is talking fundraisers and stews to start trying to fund the lumber.  I thought this could give them a running start.  After all of the White family hospitality over the years, they now need a little help.

I decided if we can get this in front of enough friends and family who have enjoyed and experienced the Dance Hall, we may get the boys off to a good start to get the lumber.  I know like myself, many of you have grown up going to parties, stews and events at the farm.  We all have grown up enjoying the property and the hospitality of the White family.  Many of you have now brought your own children to grow up enjoying the farm as well. 

Let's not let this tradition die in the fire.  Let’s get the Dance Hall rebuilt better than ever.  (I’m pulling for a bathroom:))  Even if you can't give, please share and forward to everyone you know who has ever enjoyed the annual stew, chromosome party, or a chick party.
