Mary Kate's Flight and Visa Costs

Living aboard has its complications sometimes-including Visas. This week I traveled to Nairobi in hopes to renew my current Visa for another year. Once I arrived I was informed of more paperwork that I needed from my country of origin and informed that I could not renew the current Visa I was on because there were issues with how it was stamped in my passport. With my current Visa expiring Monday, leaving me with little time to come up with a solution, and everything taking longer than those few days to process, I had no choice other than to travel back to America. So, after leaving the immigration office on Wednesday morning, I booked a flight to SC for that evening. I knew booking this flight would leave me in a great amount of debt, but I had to trust and still am trusting, that God is going to provide and come through. 

The life of church planting is not always easy. This time a few days ago I just thought I was going to Nairobi to get a new stamp in my passport, but now here I am, writing this from my house in America. God always has a plan and God always provides. These are two truths I am clinging to during this crazy process. I will be spending the next few weeks collecting the correct paperwork and returning to Kenya the beginning of April. Please join me in praying for all of this. I not only need your prayers; I also need your financial help.
