Hi There
My name is Teresa Sandeski & this is my husband Fred Sandeski.
We are looking for help in trying to raise funds for a wheelchair accessible van. So that I can keep my independence to transport myself and husband to doctors appointments to the city. Myself and family have had a difficult time getting enough money together to put towards a van.
In 2014, my van was t bone and was writing off and the insurance didn’t come close to what it was worth. We took that money and purchased a older van, with nothing that could accommodate me to drive. So someone always has to drive us there to help get groceries, go to doctors appointments and so on.
In 2014, I got really sick with vasculitis with a one month stay in hospital, 7 months bed rest.
In 2015, my husband had to have emergency open heart surgery.
In 2016 my 12 year old son had to have bypass surgery as he had a four inch blockage.
In the fall of 2016 I began bleeding continuely and went to two specialist where there several mistakes were made in my diagnoses. Which caused me to waited 20 months before It was determined I needed to have surgery. Pathology report findings was stage 3 uterine cancer.
If we hadn’t fallen on hard times these last four years we may have been able to save.
But with the medical trips and treatments it has kept us from doing so.
I’m still doing chemo until the end of feb and then radiation. My husband and I are on disability and find money tight.
I, myself find this very hard to even ask, but this is the only way. If you can give that’s wonderful and is appreciate it.
