Coach's Medical Fund

You've found the gofundme campaign for Shawn "Coach" Wiseley. Shawn has a cadre of friends and family who love him dearly, and have watched him suffer with a weight problem for years. Over the past twenty-five years I've had a front row seat to my friend's suffering. Despite years of medical issues, Coach has never used his size as a crutch, or made an issue of the situation. In fact as many can attest, the man has the greatest sense of humor and personality. In addition, he's a hard worker, who works long days; but as many people know, it's often hard to raise large sums of money, even for serious needs like life saving surgery. Which brings me to the point of this campaign, Coach desperately needs life saving gastric bypass surgery. I, along with many of Coach's closest friends, his brothers if you will, wanted to start this campaign to save our friend's life. I have watched my friend struggle for years, engaging in many different, often burdensome diet plans and exercise routines with little to no result. At times Coach will make progress losing weight, only to watch his progress quickly disappear. I fear that as my friend ages, his weight and health problems will become life threatening; but, I know Coach has a great many people who will pledge support and money toward this worthy cause.
