Anthony Johnson, also known as DJ Whiz - T, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 and we're asking for donations in support of his family while they plan his final arrangements.
DJ Whiz -T leaves behind his beautiful wife Natasha and precious baby girl Lyric Johnson(1 years old)
- and as his passing was so untimely, we want to extend the most comfort and support for his wife, baby girl and his family during this time. He really LOVED his girls!
The love DJ Whiz -T shared for his wife was unconditional, magical and inspirational to those that surrounded them. The most wonderful thing that he decided to do was to share his life and heart with the woman he cherished, Natasha. He was an amazing husband, father and friend who embodied being the definition of a true gentleman.
A graduate of Grambling University, not only was he the Official DJ for the Dallas Mavericks, but also a teacher at The Winston School in Dallas, TX, a mentor and he served in the armed forces. For over a period of two decades as a turntablist in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, DJ Whiz - T served as a "trusted advisor, eager mentor and revered elder statesman" within the hip-hop community.
Anthony " DJ Whiz -T " Johnson was known for being a giving person with a huge heart, a teacher that was passionate about music and being the game day DJ in Dallas. Anthony was a great guy that was involved with so much and touched so many people. The Legendary DJ Whiz -T will be greatly missed, but forever in our hearts.

Viewing - Saturday, Feb 21st 10:00am-12:45pm - Funeral service starts at 1:00pm at Friendship West Baptist Church 2020 W. Wheatland Rd. Dallas, Texas
