In December Jaden got the breathtaking news that a single available perfectly matched donor was found for just for her! In the national registry there are over 10.5 million people and there is just one for Jaden, a perfect needle in the haystack to say the least! Click HERE to see the video of Jaden's reaction to the news.
Jaden has gone through a conditioning regiment for the transplant which included chemo, atg and radiation. With successful conditioning she was able to receive the transplant which brought even greater news, the marrow is starting to engraft.
Jaden will remain in Seattle for at least 100 days post-transplant and likely will not be allowed to attend school on campus for a year. She is hopeful to finish her senior year with her friends come 2016. She has a long fight ahead of her but we don’t know an individual more prepared or equip to take this fight on. With everyone’s continued love and support, 2015 will be the year Jaden takes her life back. It most certainly could not happen without one incredibly selfless lady who is willing to give Jaden the gift of life by donating her marrow & without God who has continually blessed Jaden and her family throughout this journey.
Our $2500 donation goal is for expenses not covered by insurance or so Jaden and her parents can take a much needed vacation when Jaden is finally healthy enough to travel. :)
