Mizen to Malin nonstop challenge

A group of passionate Longford cyclists who are members of the local LCRC club have decided to challenge themselves with an exciting charity cycle in June 2021.
We arrived at this decision during the pandemic of 2020 when all club activities ceased. With our charities unable to run their normal fundraising activities our hearts go out to children and families who this may impact on. Our challenge compares nothing to their struggle.
The idea is that we will cycle from the most southerly point of Ireland in Co. Cork (Mizen head) to the most northerly point in Co. Donegal (Malin head) in less than 24 hours, covering approx 600km.
Starting at the crack of dawn and hopefully finishing late that same day is the plan!
We will have support from fellow Longfordians along our way!
This challenge will raise much appreciated funds for:
Crumlin children's hospital charity
LauraLynn foundation.
