Mitchell Ohana Devastated by Maui Fires

Donation protected
On August 8, 2023 a wildfire swept across the island of Maui, having a devastating effect on the Lahaina area. It destroyed everything in its path - homes, businesses, historic structures - as well as the Mitchell's family home. Dallas and Crystal Mitchell, along with their two boys, Raider and Ranger, barely made it out of the house as they rushed to safety. They left with nothing and even had to leave their two dogs behind. They were able to escape with minor injuries and burns but made it to safety. Their house is a total loss, as well as everything in it and their vehicles. The Mitchells own 808 Boards, which has been a mainstay on the island for over a decade, providing surfboard and paddle board rentals to locals and tourists alike. Their storefront is intact but their warehouse with all of their rental equipment is a total loss. The Mitchells will have to rebuild their life...again. They suffered a total loss in August of 2018 after a brush fire destroyed their home. Even though it was devastating, they did not let them deter from serving their community and truly being a part of the Maui ohana. Crystal has been dedicated to serving the children of the nearby shelter, giving back to the children of the skate park community and supporting local competitive surfers with sponsorships. Let's support the Mitchells in their time of need as they need everything, starting with basic necessities.
