Mitchell House Fire

In the early hours of August 23, the Mitchell family was abruptly awoken to neighbors alerting them there was a fire nearby and headed towards their home on the island of Maui. Dallas, Crystal and their two boys, Ranger and Raider, quickly packed up some belongings and fled their neighborhood. They learned the next day, their home had burned to the ground. While the Mitchells had been preparing for a week for the impending hurricane, the possibility of a fire did not cross their mind. They were able to grab some things while they rushed out the door but most of their possessions are gone. Right now, they are trying to assess the situation and figure out where to go from here. They are currently staying with friends and having housing set up in the coming days. We have set up this account so they can purchase the things they need immediately. We will find out in the coming days about items that may need to be shipped directly to them and any other way we can help. During their time on the island, the Mitchells have been so gracious and giving to their community and now it is time to for their Ohana to take care of them.
