MistyCouture PPE Masks

As a sign of appreciation and support for our health workers, I'm working non stop making free PPE masks to help protect staff in hospitals in need.

We've started producing masks and created our first batch for Beeston Dialysis Unit in Leeds, UK and we're now trying to help Clarendon and the Angel practices in Salford, UK, as well as carers around the country, using the appropriate materials we already have in stock, but we are going to have to start reaching out to new suppliers and sources to buy in additional materials and stock to keep supplying Health Care Professionals and those at high risk.

Our masks are made with a double layer of cotton and satin Coutil, a high grade material with extremely high thread count, which increases safety. They have a pocket where  a filter can be inserted and they tie behind the head and neck with tape, instead of using elastic, reducing pain around the ears.
These masks can also be washed at high temperature, reducing waste.
