Misty Davidson's Village

Donation protected
With a broken heart we are updating this campaign after Misty's passing. Financial burdens that cancer and death bring do not care about grief or time. They pile on quick and in times like these all anyone wants do is help. THE best way to help is to honor Misty by carrying on any impact she had in your life. Another way to help is by donating to help ease some of the burden during this time. I've attached Misty's obituary so everyone is able to get even a brief idea of how impact Misty is. Misty Rachele Davidson, 41, walked through the Heavenly gates in the presence of her Savior, Friday, September 20, 2019. She was born in Marshall, Texas, on December 21, 1977 to Jimmy Dale Wortham and Cindy Geraldine Gardner. Celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 26, 2019 at New Beginnings Baptist Church Gilmer Campus with Pastor Todd Kaunitz and Pastor Connor Bales officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of McWhorter Funeral Home. Anyone who encountered Misty, knew of her deep love for her Savior and her family. She was faithful to share the Joy she found in Christ and never ceased to give Jesus all the glory for radically saving her. Her passions were her love for God, her family, and the time she served in various ministries such as, Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry, Adult life group, Women’s bible studies and C.A.R.E., (Christ-centered Abortion Recovery). Misty loved the beach and all of the experiences God’s creation in Florida brought her. God’s peace was never lost on her as she collected seashells, wrote in the sugar white sand, and watched the various sunrises and sunsets. She was always up for an adventure, whether she was parasailing over the ocean, skiing on the lake, riding four wheelers, and playing in the snow. (WE LOVE OUR GIRL!) She is survived by her husband, Ray Davidson; children: Katelyn Brooke (Ray) Sosebee and husband, Collin Keith Sosebee, Ashton Paige (Ray), Hunter Lee Ray, Madison Grace Davidson, Amber Kay Millwood, Alisha Raye Everett and husband, Chris, Zachary Ray Davidson; mother-in-law, Linda Davidson; grandparents: Gerald Wayne and Robbie Gardner; sisters: Amanda Willian, Sherita Gardner; sister-in-law, Kasey Russell; brothers: James Wortham, Christopher Waters, John Warwick, Ed Winch; brother-in-law, John Russell; grandchildren: baby Sosebee on the way, Jayce Elijah Ray, Kaylei, Kinsey, Ava, and J’Lynn Watkins, Callem Millwood, and Grayson and Gannon Everett. She is preceded by her parents, Jimmy Dale Wortham and Cindy Gardner Chapman; her father-in-law, Duell R. Davidson; grandparents: Donna Lucille Fyffe, Alex and Elsie Lucille Fyffe; and by her brothers, Joseph Burnett and Matthew Wortham. Pallbearers will be Kevin Brown, Ken Brown, Yancy Murray, Brian Davidson, Mark Skinner and John Russell. The honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Threadgill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Beginnings Baptist Church to further the advancement of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and impacting the world. Please visit Misty’s on-line registration book at www.mcwhorterfh.com to leave a memory for the family. Just wanted to add an update on the financial side of things. Misty's daughter, Ashton, is set as the beneficiary of this campaign but only in name. All donations are being withdrawn directly to Misty and Ray!
