Missy's Breast Cancer Help Fund

Donation protected
Have you ever felt completely underwater and unable to swim?

Our friend, Melissa Creech has been diagnosed with stage III/IV Breast Cancer. While I will be updating the story as new information comes in, currently there is no viable option of surgery. She is going under several more tests and scans to determine where else in the body the cancer has spread to.

Her best option is aggressive Chemotherapy.  She is having a medical device installed to be able to administer the Chemo outside of the hospital so she can at least be in the comfort of her home.

Completely ignoring the medical costs which will in turn be devastating even if successful, Missy will be unable to work and the small amount of disability she receives (from her broken back) simply does not cover rent, groceries, gas, or god forbid anything fun.

The total amount of the fund will likely change as her disease develops. Only time will tell how she responds to treatment, or how fast the disease advances or declines.

Funds will be distributed monthly to help defray rent, food, electricity, transportation, and care for her Border Collie Piper. Any remaining funds will be applied to begin to defray medical costs.  This fund however is specifically to help Missy meet minimal living costs for the next 6-18 months,

For those who know her personally and sill live in the area we will be trying to organize a watch system for Missy so that every day there is someone available to help her with whatever the day requires- a trip to the doctors or pharmacy, someone to help to laundry or help in the yard. Whatever the day requires.

She needs money my friends so she can maintain the dignity of living in her own house. Every dollar, every ten, every hundred or thousand will mean more to her than you can possibly imagine.

She also needs our help. She needs our love. She needs our encouragement. She needs our prayers.

We will be setting up levels of donation so those who want to track her progress can be automatically updated. I will be updating this page weekly, or more frequently as developments become clear.

The urgency to get the help rolling is NOW. Every day she survives is a day closer to BEATING this disease.
