Covid has hit the Rubio household! Missy Rubio has been in ICU for a few weeks and is currently on a ventilator to help her lungs heal. Phil has recovered but is still on oxygen.

Missy's birthday is Saturday (Oct 30th). We have set up this account to help the Rubio household. Missy is unable to receive birthday gifts this year. Instead of the typical birthday gifts, we are gathering monetary donations to help with the mounting expenses from this journey.

Missy is fighting hard, and we are receiving praise reports daily! A huge birthday party is planned for Missy when she comes home from the hospital - we don't know when that will be - but we will celebrate Rubio style!

We are asking for prayers for Missy, for the medical staff who is so sweet and working hard to get Missy better, and for Missy's family. Tough isn't a strong enough word for what the family is going through. But TOUGH is a great word to describe Missy - and her willingness to fight!
