Miss Piggy needs a butt hole!

Donation protected
I rescued Miss Piggy Pooh last week with the help of Mo Drose, Charity Moore and Jacque Nelson who as complete strangers bonded together, tag-teamed and drove her up to me in  SC.  I can't thank them enough!

Miss Piggy Pooh was tossed over a fence like garbage into someone's yard in Florida about a month ago and abandoned.  After eluding capture for hours, she was finally trapped in a trap and taken to a neighbor to foster.  The foster did her best for her, but  really didn't want a pig and when she realized she didn't have an anus, decided to take her to a shelter.  The shelter would have euthanized her because of her defect and Charity Moore posted her plight on Facebook. After seeing her sweet face and reading her story, I decided within minutes that I had to try and give her a forever home.  She came to me on Friday, and has stolen our hearts.  The jury is still out on if she's an actual potbellied pig...We're betting on NOT!  Since she is in the habit of running and hiding between my legs when she's scared of something or she wants attention, it might be interesting if she grows to Esther the Wonder Pig size...We have braced ourselves for this possibility...

Because of her defect, she strains to pass feces through her vagina, and without surgical intervention will have a very short life because of the potential for blockages, uterine and urinary infections.  Surgery is the only option for this darling girl.  She is adorable, sweet and good natured allowing me to bathe her daily where we soak her bottom in warm water to loosen the stool and dig it out. She will always be incontinent, but she can spend her days surrounded by people who love her and will give her lots of belly rubs, ear scratches and butt baths!  This little girl wants to live and I'm willing to give her a forever home.

I estimate her medical expenses to be approximately $2000 at the University of Georgia Vet School.  Dr. Randy Eggleston will be seeing her on January 13.  She will need a contrast study to determine where her intestines terminate and to make a surgery plan.  If any of you can help with her expenses, it would be greatly appreciated.  Miss Piggy Pooh needs a chance at life.  Please help!

If any money is left over it will be donated to Mo Money For Pigs to be used to help other pigs in need.

Thanks in advance and lots of snout kisses from Miss Piggy Pooh!
