Missouri M.A.D.E.

Missouri M.A.D.E., which stands for Mobilizing And Diversifying Elections, was founded in June 2018. Amanda Morrison, a current undergraduate student originally from Springfield, Missouri, started the organization to inspire and empower high school and college-age women to run for public office at all levels in her home state. Since Missouri M.A.D.E.'s founding, the organization developed an executive team, started recruiting a Board of Directors, published nine (9) newsletters updating constituents about women in office in Missouri, and was named a Vision 2020  Allied Organization.

In August 2019, Missouri M.A.D.E. was incorporated as an official non-profit organization in the state of Missouri. In order to secure 501(c)(3) non-profit and tax-exempt status, our organization is now applying for federal 501(c)(3) status, which costs approximately $300 to apply. After securing these funds, hopefully we will obtain federal non-profit status and can fund our organization through grant applications. Your donations will not only help us secure our 501(c)(3) status, but also kick off a financially secure new year.
