Send Mika to Honduras 2019

'Mika has been asked to return on a 3rd trip on mission in Central America in 2019 in order to continue God's work at a orphanage and poverty stricken community, sharing the love of Jesus. She will remain for a few weeks during the holiday season to also disciple the single moms, and be ministered to by getting to know their day to day without basic comforts and challenges of crime and limited means. The children are not used to people returning, so her return is critical to demonstrate to the little ones they are not forgotten to exemplify hope.

Your donation will open doors for tremendous community work, and it will be turned into her supporting church in your name, unless asked not to.
 
The last visit was in July 2018 and there was an amazing increase in the joy expressed by the children during participation in songs of praise, and Bible lessons. Many families were visited, prayed with, and a bonus - staff at the orphanage were provided training to work with children in crisis; Supplies were provided to the community church to provide a Vacation Bible School (something that was just introduced last year). About 150 children visited.

Donations are directly used for airfare to and from, portion of local transportation, boarding and food for the weeks there. Any donations made over the goal amount helps to support additional cost for travel if needed (a more expensive time of the year to go to Honduras), ministry supplies, unforeseen emergencies-medical-travel delays or changes, language instruction, donations to local families in need of provisions. If you want your donation going toward something specific please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate once the travel cost is met, and update you on the outcome.
