Mission Trip To Cambodia 2015

Thanks for taking the time to check this page out! So, on January 28, 2015, a team of us young people as well as some not so young people will be going over to Cambodia on a mission trip with the organisation, Family Care Cornerstone Project. We're from NDCCCS (Northern Districts Chinese Christian Church) and we really hope that we'll be able to make a positive impact on the lives of those we meet no matter how small and also take away experiences that will allow us to help others more effectively in the future.

In Cambodia, we will be visiting and helping out in several of the poorer areas but the majority of our time will be spent in the widows community on Koh Rumdual Island in the Saang District, Kandal Province. There we will be purchasing the materials for and constructing 3 basic houses for the community.

We have already been really fortunate as the cost of 1 of the 3 houses has been covered for us, however, the material cost for the 2 remaining houses is still 900 USD per house, a total of 1800 USD. Although we are already a lot more loaded when compared to many in Cambodia, many of us are still uni students without a solid income.

So, this is the bit where we ask for your help, if you are feeling generous, we would really appreciate it if you could donate some of your hard earned cash to help out both us and the community we will be serving. 100% of all your donations will go towards the material costs of the houses and any additional money raised will go towards shouting the kids in the poorer areas and orphanages we visit meals. If you cannot afford to donate, your prayers and encouragement are equally if not more valuable.
