Mission Training and Outreach

Hi family and friends! About 6 years ago God planted a seed in my heart to go off and do some type of mission outreach if and when I had the opportunity. As much as the selfish side of me looked for excuses as to not do it, I told myself if I was ever in a situation where it was possible than I would obey. Well God has created a path and I am now in situation where I really do not have much of an excuse. I teamed up with Youth With A Mission to attend 3 months of Discipleship Training School (DTS) followed by 3 months of Mission Outreach. I won't find out the location of the outreach until after the first month of DTS but some past locations of this DTS have been impoverished communities in South Asia, South-East Asia, and Africa.  
 I know that a lot of you, because of your current situations (family, job, etc), would not be able to dedicate the time for something like this even though you'd love to participate. I am asking if you will partner with me financially to see God's plan come to fruition. Your support will help offset the cost of food and lodging during DTS ($4000) along with the transportation, food, lodging, and resources for and during the mission outreach portion (estimated between $4000 - $5000).  I leave September 27, 2018 for DTS and have already paid a deposit. Your support will mean so much to me as I grow closer to God, Make God known to others, and to just show his love in practical ways to those who need it.  I'd  also love to share with you my experiences during this time. I am very grateful for your support whether through your financial support, prayer, or positive thoughts.
