Living on Mission: Ebonee's Going to Ghana

Donation protected
Hi!

I’m Ebonee. Ten years ago I traveled to Ghana on a trip that changed my entire life. I was a teacher at the Street Academy for children in Accra. This summer I’m excited to announce that I’m going back as a missionary. And I’m bringing a team with me! Here’s why I’m going. I decided to live my life on mission. To me, that means being intentional about how I choose to live out my faith in Jesus Christ at home among the people in my life, in my local community among my neighbors and abroad among the nations of the world.

I need your help to get to Ghana. I’ve put together some questions I predict you’ll ask.

1.        What are the dates of the trip? July 22-31, 2019

2.       Are you going with your church or a missions organization? No. This is not affiliated with my church, or with any missions organization. I am leading a team of four missions-minded women to serve in Ghana.

3.       Where exactly are we going? We are going to Doryuma, Ghana near the Shai Hills Town.

4.       Who are you serving with? We will be serving/lodging with City of Refuge Ministries (CORM). CORM aids in the holistic restoration of children who have been liberated from exploitation, abuse or trafficking. I urge you to visit their website here to learn more: www.cityofrefugeoutreach.org.

5.       What will we be doing? Our goal is to aid/learn from the Ghanaians working with CORM and the long-term missionaries there. We will join in the work the Holy Spirit is already doing through local Ghanaians and missionaries on the ground. Below is a list of activities CORM has available for outreach support:

·       Medical

·       Farming

·       Tutoring/Co-Teaching

·       Sports

·       Video/film/Photography

·       Administration

·       Grounds Management

·       Ministry Opportunities

Maybe you can give. Maybe you can pray. Maybe you can do both. I appreciate your support as I live out the Great Commission to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” – Matthew 28:19. Feel free to follow the story of what God is doing at City of Refuge Ministries on my social @EboneeSpeaks.

I love you,
Ebonee
