Mission to Mozambique

Hi guys!! I have some really exciting news; I'm going to go share the gospel in Mozambique, Africa! This is my first time ever going on a mission trip and also my first time out of the country so I am really looking forward to it and very expectant for what God is going to do.
I will be partnering with Iris Global (Heidi Baker's Ministry) and traveling with a short-term team from October 14th to October 29th. While I am there, I will be doing a variety of different things including village outreach, hospital ministry, spending time with widows and children on the base and also bush ministry. Bush Ministry is when we get to travel out to an uncharted village in Mozambique and share the gospel. In recent months, Mozambique had been under attack from terrorist who caused a lot of damage and heartbreak to the country. Villages were burned down and lives were lost due to brutal attacks. We hope to be able to mentor to these people and bring practical relief as well.
As much as I believe I will be going to pour out to others, I know I will be getting so much in return. I am so excited to go share love with others, but I am equally as excited to learn and grow from the Mozambicans. I am FULLY expectant to come back a changed person, experiencing Jesus and his love in a whole new way.
The money raised will be going towards plane tickets, travel expenses, required supplies, and practical relief for those affected by the terrorist attacks. Any additional money will be donated to the Iris base. I am asking for you to prayerfully seek and see how you can partner with me on this trip. Along with financial needs, we also need people to partner with us in prayer.
