The Mission Sicily Relaunch

Great news! The Mission Sicily Relaunch is happening July 2021, just a few months away.
Mission|Sicily was launched in 2013, after many years of personal preparation, ministry training and partnership formation. This mission exists to make disciples, plant churches, and build bridges of hope in Sicily, and one day in Italy.
* We partner with local pastors, churches and expat ministries*
On the field for 6 years, from 2013 - 2019, it was time for a “seventh year sabbatical” or furlough. Just in time for COVID-19, the mission “rested” by working hard in Nashville TN, developing partnerships, and traveling back to Sicily twice.
After much prayer, careful planning, and a cohort of pastors, counselors and advisors weighing in, it’s time to relaunch Mission|Sicily and get back to the work that's paused. Getting back to that assignment requires much help and many hands.
This is part of our Catania (area) church-planting team in Sicily:
Here’s a breakdown of what funds are still needed. Note: these funds are separate and distinct from monthly UWM support donations that help the mission to stay operational once it's relaunched.
✅ Flights from the US to Sicily have already been taken care of!
✅ Apartment and relocation expenses upon arrival, Summer ‘21
✅ Replacing appliances and necessities discarded or given away
☑ Bureaucratic fees -- establishing residency, driver’s license, etc
☑ Continuing language learning -- achieving a high fluency level
☑ Flights for Gino and I to visit US partners in early Q1 - 2022
☑ Travel expenses for Gino and I to do US based support-raising
