Hello everyone,
My name is Emi Reindle and this November, I have been given the opportunity to compete for Miss Ohio Teen USA, the official preliminary to the prestigious Miss Teen USA pageant this summer. Winning the title of Miss Ohio Teen USA is so much more than the crown and the sash. As Miss Ohio Teen USA, I will be able to not only work with amazing organizations such as Pink Ribbon Girls, but I will also be able to further communicate my platform to people all over the state and the U.S. Last year, my mom, Renee Reindle, was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was a very difficult time for my family and I, both financially and emotionally.
In order to cope with my personal feelings, I started a non-profit organization known as Screens for Teens. Screens for Teens has given me the chance to share my struggles with the hardships our family faced, talk about the importance of early detection, and also help other young-adults know that they are not going through their situation alone. I am also hoping that as Miss Ohio Teen USA, I will be able to show young women that no matter your age, size, or race, you can accomplish any goal that you set your mind too as long as you are always confidently beautiful and confidently YOU.
Of course, competing for an amazing opportunity such as for the title of Miss Ohio Teen USA comes with multiple out-of-pocket expenses that are needed to help me be as prepared as I can possibly be. These expenses include our hotel stay, wardrobe, jewelry, registration, etc... It would mean the world to me if you all would be able to help me compete for the title of my dreams by providing even a small donation towards my fund.
