Miss Jo's Sound System

If you recognize the beautiful woman in this photo, you know how much she gives back to the Boise community. Miss Jo Karr is Miss Africa Idaho, leader of the Makatas dancers, and a role model to hundreds of girls and young women around the Treasure Valley.

As Makatas coach, Miss Jo volunteers hours of her free time during dance season teaching traditional African dance. But just as important, she lifts her dancers up, celebrates their achievements in dance and in life, and teaches them the importance of community service.

Unfortunately, Jo's music system that she uses for practice just died and we don't think she should have to buy a new one herself -- especially when she uses it in service to others.

Can you please chip in to help us buy Miss Jo a new one? Even if it's $5 or $10, it won't take us long to get to our goal!

Thanks so much!
