Hello, my name is Sema'ja McBroom-Turner and I am a junior nursing major at Kentucky State University with a dream of becoming a neonatal nurse. I am working hard every day to make this dream a reality, as I work towards my degree. I’m also proud to be actively involved in my campus community—participating in various organizations, maintaining an outstanding academic standing, and currently competing in the 2025 Miss Black & Gold Scholarship Pageant organized by the Beth Mu chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

As part of my commitment to community service, I am dedicating my fundraising efforts to the March of Dimes, an incredible organization that works tirelessly to improve the health of mothers and babies. March of Dimes has a mission to fight for the health of all moms and babies by funding research, advocating for policies, and providing programs that support families during critical times.

100% of the funds raised through this fundraiser will be donated directly to the March of Dimes.
