Miss Ali

I have known Allison since we were 4 and 5 years old. We have been close our entire lives, inside and outside of baton twirling; we have not only been teammates and competitive pairs partners but best friends for decades, and now directors together with Titanium. I could never imagine my twirling world without her. She is SUCH an inspiration to me and every single athlete/parent she comes in contact with and I know that we all feel so lucky to be around her at all times.

The loss of her mother has been extremely devastating to her and her family.  A lot of you have reached out asking how/what you can do to support her.  This week has been especially tough with Tuesday being her mother's birthday and Sunday being Mother's day. I have given it some thought and came up with something that I think she would truly love and appreciate! 

Just before her mother fell gravely ill, Ali and Joe purchased a swing set for the boys from Costco. Her mom wanted her to look into getting the swing set installed and offered to pay for the installation. After some research, Ali felt that she and Joe (and some friends) could install it themselves. Obviously with everything going on, she hasn't had time to install the swing set. So, I thought that we could make that happen for them, carefree.

I have gotten quotes from a few places that professionally install a swing set like the one they purchased, and it would cost approximately $800-$1000. If each family was willing to chip in $15-$20, we could easily make this happen. Enough people have reached out about contributing, so I thought the easiest way for people to contribute was through a GoFundMe.

I understand that we are all going through some very tough times, so I appreciate any donation towards this gesture for Miss Ali.
