Misfit Farm’s Happily Ever After

Misfit farm could use your help! Misfit Farm is an animal sanctuary currently located in Somerville ME that has taken in over 60 animals from various situations to provide them with a better life. Misfit Farm is their forever home, where they are safe, healthy, and comfortable , and will be able to live out the rest of their lives worry-free.

We are selling the farm, packing up the animals, and moving to Porter Maine. This move will ensure that we can keep all 62 animals in our care by cutting our personal expenses in half.

We have closed on a 19 acre parcel of land in Porter Maine. After the sale of the farm that we are at now, we will be able to live, with only a 10 year land payment, as opposed to a 30 year mortgage. This will ensure all the animals a safe and happy retirement with us.

We are trying to raise money for a used livestock trailer that we can customize to fit all the animals big and small, and the cost of new fencing for all the enclosures. We are setting a high goal as we are hoping to have this be our last online fundraiser.
