Miros' fight against Breast Cancer

Donation protected
I would like you to meet someone very special to me, Miroslava Romero, my 27 years young sister. Sometimes life hits hard and can throw you a curveball out of nowhere. Growing up with my sister has been many things; joy, laughter, love and support. This of course is not to say that we didn't have our fights and disagreements, this just comes along with being sisters, but none of this can compare to the life changing news, the blindside that has hit our entire family, the news you never want to hear... my sister has stage 2 breast cancer.
You see, Miros and I come from a large family with aunts, uncles, cousins and sibilings none of which have ever had a history of cancer. You can only imagine what went thru all of our minds when we learned that my 27 year young sister Miros, full of life and love, full of compassion and warmth, a giving soul that would rather give than receive was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, we all felt the heart break that so many other families have felt before us. THIS IS NOW OUR FIGHT!

Our hope is that medical costs will be resolved with time, Miroslava's particular financial hardships are twofold. First the stress and concern she faces with lost wages. Miroslava and her husband work hard like many others to raise her 2 stepdaughters, both incomes playing a large part in maintaining this family. With the many doctor visits, appointments, therapy, surgery and more appointments and more therapy's to come, Miros income will be drastically affected.

Second... Miroslava has always dreamed of having a child of her own. Having a child is something Miroslava has looked forward to sharing with her husband for as long as I can remember, but the bad news continues to be heart wrenching... the doctor explained to my sister that after surgery the radiation and chemotherapy will drastically reduce the chances of her ever having children. The glimmer of hope is a costly method to harvest and freeze eggs, possibly allowing this newlywed and her desire of motherhood to become a reality once she has fully recovered from this battle with cancer.

With the urging of family members and friends, I have set up this GoFundMe account hoping it may offset the burden she will face. My hope is that these contributions will allow Miros to have less stress and better her chances to respond well to her continued therapy while fighting cancer. My family and I appreciate any contribution you feel could be made to aid my beautiful sister through this battle with cancer, a battle we all fully intend to fight and win with Miros!! God bless you and all the other families facing the same challenges.

with a grateful heart I thank you, Blanca.
