I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Miriam, whose mother in Guatemala needs a coronary artery bypass graft (and possibly open-heart surgery). The family is still dealing with another crisis that has strained their hearts and their bank accounts. I'm creating this fundraiser to help alleviate the financial strain for the family.

Miriam has been a blessing to me and my family and is always looking to help others in her community. She regularly hosts yard sales to send money to Guatemala and at other times to raise funds for local Houston families struck by tragedy.
